The positives: Very good evening/afternoon entertainment program. The food was well cooked and tasty with a good selection of budget and premium options (unless you are Celiac) No long waiting at the bar with friendly staff Free shuttle bus every half hour to different parts of a very large camp. Now on the the Negatives: No heating in all 3 out of 4 caravans on arrival (in December) one of the caravans took over 24 hours to fix. Lack of training for fire procedures, fire alarm went off one evening (not a test) 15 plus staff running round grabbing yellow jackets but nit actually doing anything or telling people where to go (in entertainment venue) 0 staff in arcade with 100+kids not being told where to go or what to do. Worst of all they drop a roller a shutters down between arcade and entertainment stopping you from getting to kids causing panic for several parents. This exit is also clearly marked fire exit yet has a shutter. Do not bother booking here if you require Gluten free food. 2 restaurants open. The smokehouse has 1 option a jacket potato and that is it. The expensive but tasty steak/fish grill restaurant upstairs has one option fish pie. I don't know why it would be so hard to have a separate fryer for chips so that they could offer a GF steak. Really disappointed.

Fabulous family short break 3 nights. With 3 kids age 5-10 something for them all. Loved the pool. Spotlessly clean. Was out of season so obviously quieter than holiday periods. Restaurants were surprisingly good and exceeded expectations. Modern caravan all mod cons. Lovely break great customer service

Well what can I say… if there was an option for 0 stars I would have choose this. I honestly wouldn’t book here for New Year’s Eve. We had an awful time with checking in as we wasn’t sent the information to gain entry onto the site (we soon found out there’s 2 different entrances and typically the sat nav sent us to the first one which was no where near the reception) I finally managed to get through by telephone after several attempts and soon checked in. On First appearance our caravan was lovely but lacked cleanliness as we found pants and socks in cupboards (must have been from the previous stay) and wet brown substance in one of the bedrooms. One of the beds were not made up on arrival as well. We brushed this of and wanted to be positive so we went for dinner but that wasn’t very joyful either as it was very hard to get a table and you can’t book (there was probably about 20 small tables max) so you had to wait around for people to finish. I think a booking system would have been a lot better. Entertainment…. Well it’s impossible to get a table/chair. We ended up going back to the caravan early due to this and when we woke in the morning one of the bed covers were quite wet from water coming from the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. At this point we were frustrated and expressed all of our concerns with the receptionist who only offered to get someone to bring bedding to us for the missed bed. Not at any point did she offer for someone to sort out the wet bed or leak. We then discovered that we were unable to attend any entertainment for New Year’s Eve as it was already full booked! (We booked this family holiday purely for New Year’s Eve) not at any point was we told we had to book tickets when we booked our holiday! I assumed this could be done when you arrived! After hearing this we decided we would leave after being there only 16 hours as it was a total nightmare to be honest and the last thing we wanted was to be sitting in our caravan all night with kids on New Year’s Eve. Since leaving I’ve spoken with seal bay (via email as that’s the only way they will deal with any complaints) and they have not been helpful what so ever and have clearly shown the lack of care and as long as they’ve taken your money they really don’t care. I will be adding this review and pictures to all of there social media as well to make people aware not to book New Year’s Eve there to prevent them being disappointed and out of pocket like us.

Been coming here for years . I consider it a hidden gem . Entertainment is great and always something to do no matter the weather. The staff are friendly and great with the kids. The last 2 years we have come just before Christmas. The panto this year 2025 was amazing and funny for the adults.

Unbelievably disappointing - everything is CLOSED/SHUT. We travelled from Australia to spend time with our family over the Xmas festive period and picked this resort based on amenities available and the fact my sister and her family have been here multiple times. We arrived on 27th Dec and are here for a week. We tried to book activities etc only to be told that the majority of everything is closed. We have paid a premium price which was expected due to the time of year but the lack of communication to advise that 95% of the activities are shut and closed is disgusting. Having 5 kids between us and a birthday for my niece, the activities were a major factor for us in coming here. We haven’t been advised anything was closed, nor were we given the option to change or postpone our trip and it was only when we enquired today, that reception told us. It’s very disappointing on so many levels.
