What’s Included

Accommodation

Full-board homestay is INCLUDED in all teenage vacation packages: carefully checked hosts 25–50 minutes by bus, shared bedrooms, weekly bus pass provided. Staying with family or friends? Deduct £160/week. BLC cannot host students with allergies/conditions that may need emergency treatment.

Meal Plan

Breakfast, lunch and dinner with the homestay; in summer, hot buffet lunches are served at the University of Brighton City Campus Monday–Friday (packed lunches in other seasons). Special diets (gluten-free, vegan, lactose-free, nut intolerances) +£35/week.

Activities & Excursions

Compulsory supervised programme: 4 half-day + 3 evening activities weekly in summer (sea kayaking, beach volleyball, bowling, i360, student parties), a half-day and a full-day Saturday excursion (London, Arundel Castle, Seven Sisters), winter ice skating by the Royal Pavilion. Curfews: 21:00 (13–15) / 22:00 (16–17).

A 6-floor, 1,000 m² college at 7 Old Steine — directly opposite the Royal Pavilion, 2 minutes from the beach and Palace Pier: 35 classrooms, student lounge, coffee shop, patio and free 90 Mbps Wi-Fi. Football training at the Amex Elite Football Performance Centre.

Brighton Language College International (BLC)

BLC International (est. 1995) is a city-centre language college at 7 Old Steine, Brighton — opposite the Royal Pavilion, 2 minutes from the beach and Palace Pier. Its all-inclusive teenage Junior Vacation courses (13–17, full-board homestay included) run in FOUR seasons — winter, spring, summer and autumn — plus a Football + English course with Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation at the American Express Elite Performance Centre, Kids Explorer day courses (7–12) and Junior English for teens travelling with parents. Summer lunches are served at the University of Brighton campus.
