About the Course

Morning lessons (Mon-Fri) focus on developing core language skills with particular emphasis on speaking and listening. Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session, with role-plays, AV technology, project work and task-based activities. An entry level test is held on the first school day and an end-of-course certificate and student report are provided. Students choose the standard programme (15 hours per week) or the Super Intensive programme (20.5 hours per week), in classes of 12 on average (max 18), for levels Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1).

What’s Included

The price includes tuition, full board homestay accommodation, afternoon activity programme, weekly excursions programme and pastoral care. Course dates run from June to August with programmes of 2, 3 or 4 weeks; extra weeks are available (see official CES price list).

Accommodation

Full board homestay accommodation with carefully selected host families in the Dublin suburbs, visited regularly to ensure high standards. Average travel time to the city centre is 30-40 minutes by bus or train.

Meal Plan

Full board is included: breakfast and dinner with the host family, plus packed lunch on school days and excursions.

Activities & Excursions

Afternoons include a supervised programme of activities and cultural visits: an orientation tour, visits to museums and galleries, history and nature walks, quizzes and games, sports afternoons, dance and singing lessons, and one full-day excursion at the weekend to popular sites in Ireland.

CES Dublin operates three centrally located teaching centres with 33 classrooms at Dame Street in the heart of Dublin, a few minutes’ walk from Temple Bar and Dublin Castle, with a computer room, free Wi-Fi, cafe, two rooftop gardens and a 24-hour emergency help line.
