About the Course

Morning lessons (09:00-12:15, Mon-Fri) focus on developing core language skills with particular emphasis on speaking and listening. Vocabulary and pronunciation work are integrated into each session, with role-plays, AV technology, project work and task-based activities. An entry level test is held on the first school day and an end-of-course certificate and student report are provided. 15 hours of tuition per week in classes of 12 on average (max 18), for levels Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1).

What’s Included

The price includes tuition, airport transfer, full board homestay accommodation, afternoon activity programme, weekly excursions programme and pastoral care. Course dates run from June to August with programmes of 2, 3 or 4 weeks; extra weeks are available (see official CES price list). Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Accommodation

Full board homestay accommodation with carefully selected Canadian host families, visited regularly to ensure high standards. Airport transfer from Toronto Pearson International Airport is included.

Meal Plan

Full board is included: breakfast and dinner with the host family, plus packed lunch on school days and excursions.

Activities & Excursions

Afternoons include a supervised programme of activities and cultural visits: an orientation tour, visits to museums and galleries, history and nature walks, quizzes and games, sports afternoons, dance and singing lessons, and weekend tours to popular sites — including the famous Niagara Falls day trip.

CES Toronto is in the heart of downtown at 112 Elizabeth Street, 3 minutes from St. Patrick subway station and The Eaton Centre: 18 bright classrooms over two floors, student common rooms, self-service kitchens, pool table, free high-speed Internet, elevator and a 24-hour emergency phone. Camp Experience

Students learn English in Canada’s largest and most multicultural city, combining morning classes downtown with afternoons of festivals, attractions and sports, and weekend trips such as Niagara Falls, alongside classmates from more than 85 countries.
