About the Course

The academic program consists of 20 engaging lessons per week, each lasting 45 minutes. Taught by friendly, qualified teachers using a communicative approach, the focus is on practical language use and building confidence. Students are placed in international classes of approximately 17 peers based on a placement test, ensuring lessons are tailored to their level with an emphasis on speaking and listening skills in real-life contexts.

What’s Included

The base package includes all English lessons, full-board accommodation in university residences, a full program of on-site activities and scheduled excursions (both half-day and full-day), an end-of-course certificate and arrival/departure transfers on the official arrival day (from specified airports). Optional excursions, some optional evening activities (e.g., cinema), guard.me insurance and individual transfers to and from campus are available for an extra fee. A refundable damage deposit in cash is required on arrival.

Accommodation

Students stay in single rooms with private en-suite bathrooms within secure university residences on campus. Rooms are equipped with a desk, chair, wardrobe, and bed linens (provided and changed weekly). Facilities include communal dining and social areas, on-site laundry (paid, cashless), 24-hour security with CCTV, and free Wi-Fi across the campus. A night supervisor provides additional safety in the evenings.

Meal Plan

The program offers full board. Meals are served in a communal dining hall with set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The catering provides a variety of hot and cold options daily, including a vegetarian choice. Special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, religious) can be accommodated if notified accurately at least two weeks in advance. Packed lunches are provided on excursion days.

Activities & Excursions

The experience is balanced with a diverse mix of daily on-site sports, creative workshops (e.g., scavenger hunts, drama, fashion shows), and lively evening events like discos, karaoke, and quizzes. The program includes regular excursions to iconic UK destinations such as London, Brighton Pier, Arundel Castle, and Canterbury, blending fun, cultural discovery, and opportunities for students to socialize and practice English in new settings.

Facilities

On campus, students have access to well-equipped classrooms, a large indoor sports hall, extensive outdoor playing fields, various social lounges, a mini-supermarket, cafes, and vending machines. The campus features free Wi-Fi and comprehensive security. The prime location provides easy access to Brighton's beaches and city centre via a short train ride from the adjacent Falmer station.
