About the Course

Two programmes run at the University of London centre: the Summer Course (15 hours of English per week, start dates 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 July, 1-4 weeks, min level Elementary) and the Leaders of Tomorrow academy (20 hours per week of English for Academic Purposes, social skills and vocational development, two-week blocks from 8 or 22 July, min level Intermediate, pre-test required).

What’s Included

£1,575/week (Summer Course) or £1,700/week (Leaders of Tomorrow) includes the course, full board at International Hall and the activity programme. En-suite supplement £115/week. Registration fee £85. Optional student insurance £6/week. Transfers per official table (Heathrow £165, Heathrow Shuttle £70, St Pancras £75).

Accommodation

International Hall, a modern University of London residence on Brunswick Square: single en-suite rooms (private bathroom, mini-fridge; £115/week supplement) or single standard rooms with shared bathrooms (1:6) and access to a shared kitchenette.

Meal Plan

Full board: breakfast and dinner at the residence, with lunch money provided on prepaid cash cards. Vegetarian always available; other dietary requirements on request.

Activities & Excursions

A full evening activity programme on campus and around London. Full-day excursions include Greenwich, Brighton, Canterbury, Cambridge, Oxford and Hastings; half-day options include walking tours, Covent Garden, The Shard, Camden and Spitalfields markets, river cruises, the great museums and galleries, Madame Tussauds and the Tower of London.

Facilities

International Hall includes accommodation, dining facilities, social spaces and an internal courtyard, in the historic district of Bloomsbury next to Russell Square — one of the best-connected locations in London (King’s Cross/St Pancras 5 miles from Heathrow rail links).

Kings Education (Young Learners)

Kings Education has been running English language programmes for many decades, welcoming young learners from nearly 60 countries every year. Kings Young Learners offers summer courses, Summer Experience and Summer Academy programmes for ages 8-17 at city and residential centres across the UK (Ascot, Bath, Berkshire, Bournemouth, London, Oxford) and the USA (Malibu, New York), combining English lessons with a rich activity and excursion programme. Kings is accredited by the British Council and a member of Young Learners English UK and English UK.

Yes. Kings is accredited by the British Council and a member of Young Learners English UK; International Hall is supervised by Kings residential staff and a rigorous care and support programme is central to the course.

The weekly price includes the course, full board at International Hall (breakfast and dinner at the residence, prepaid lunch cards) and the activity programme. Registration fee £85. En-suite supplement (£115/week), London travel, transfers and student insurance (£6/week) are payable separately.

Optional student insurance is available at £6 per week. Details of Kings’ care, safety and support programme can be confirmed directly with Kings.

The Summer Course accepts ages 12-17 (min level Elementary); Leaders of Tomorrow accepts ages 14-17 (min level Intermediate, pre-test required). Season 1 July - 5 August 2026, Wednesday arrivals.
