About the Course

15 hours of group tuition per week (Holiday course, Mon–Fri 9:00–12:30) or 19 hours (Semi-intensive), designed to consolidate grammar and develop confident speaking. Semi-combination option with private tuition also available. Recommended ages 12–16 in summer.

What’s Included

Packages include tuition, full-board homestay and the activity programme. Extras: placement fee £80, dietary supplement £27.50/week, Saturday arrival £45, DFDS chaperone for under-16s £29 each way. August (mid-season) homestay is £40/week lower than the July price shown.

Accommodation

Full-board homestay with carefully selected local families (£335/week high season, £295 mid season) or student residence (£400/£360). One-off placement fee £80. Saturday arrivals possible for a £45 fee; standard arrival day is Sunday.

Meal Plan

Full board with the homestay family or in residence. Dietary supplement £27.50/week for specific diets, intolerances or allergies.

Activities & Excursions

Afternoon activities every weekday plus a weekly evening BBQ party; during peak summer weeks teenagers get two further evening activities and weekend beach games. Boat trips and island excursions make the most of Jersey.

The college occupies the historic former St Brelade’s parish school building in St Aubin, teaching English to international students since 1984, close to the beaches of St Aubin’s Bay.
