About the Course

The camp offers 9 hours per week of learning, where participants choose between a foreign language course (French, Spanish, English, German) or an Outdoor Education program. The language program follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1-C1), with a focus on practical conversation and confidence building. For a more intensive experience, private tuition and French Immersion programs (with extra hours and excursions) are available.

The base package includes full-board accommodation, three meals per day plus an afternoon snack, a full activity and evening program, all admissions, qualified sports coaching, equipment, 24/7 care, 9 hours per week of chosen learning (language or Outdoor Education), laundry once per two-week session, comprehensive travel insurance, accompanied transfers from Geneva airport or Aigle train station, a Camp Suisse polo shirt, and access to an online photo gallery. Accommodation

Accommodation is in full-board residential facilities at the camp in Les Crosets. The camp provides safety, 24-hour supervision, and a secure environment with first aid facilities on site and proximity to a hospital.

Meal Plan

Meals are provided three times a day with an afternoon snack, featuring buffet-style breakfasts and varied dinner options with a salad bar. The camp specialises in catering to dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, coeliac, lactose-free, non-pork, nut-free, and peanut-free. A personalised food plan is created upon arrival, using fresh local produce and specialist products as needed.

Activities & Excursions

The program includes alpine adventure activities (mountain biking, climbing, archery, ghyll scrambling, hiking), sports coaching (football, basketball, volleyball), team-building games, and creative sessions like bushcraft. It features five full-day cultural excursions per two-week session to places like a glacier, Gruyères, the Olympic Museum, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Château de Chillon. Evening activities are also part of the full program.

The camp utilises its location in Les Crosets with doorstep access to chairlifts and proximity to facilities like an indoor/outdoor swimming pool and the Palladium Sports Centre in Champéry. On-site facilities include a 9m indoor climbing wall with auto-belay devices and archery ranges.

The course focuses on rapidly improving

The teaching methodology follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with a focus on practical conversation and confidence building. Audio-visual aids, modern materials, and innovative techniques are used to encourage full participation. Classes are usually no bigger than ten students and are divided by level (Beginner A1 to Advanced C1), determined by informal written and oral tests. The language teachers are also heavily involved in the camp's activities and excursions to maximise immersive learning opportunities outside the classroom.

The course focuses on rapidly improving practical conversational Spanish and building confidence in a fun, immersive setting.
