Über den Kurs

The Kings Summer Course offers 15 hours of English lessons per week (minimum entry level Elementary), taught in international classes with students from nearly 60 countries. Start dates: 8, 15, 22, 29 July and 5 August 2026; duration 1-4 weeks. Standard arrival/departure day is Wednesday.

Inbegriffen

£1,340 per week includes the course, full board accommodation and the activity and excursion programme. Registration fee £85. Optional student insurance £6 per week. Airport transfers bookable (Heathrow £100 one-way, Heathrow Shuttle £55; other airports per official transfer table). Season 8 July - 12 August 2026.

Unterkunft

Traditional, well-kept boarding school accommodation: single, twin and multi-bedded (3-8) rooms with communal bathrooms (student:bathroom ratio 4:1-6:1, sink in every room). Limited modern single en-suite rooms at a £100/week supplement (pre-booking required). Boys and girls housed separately, each area supervised by Kings residential staff.

Verpflegung

Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with hot lunches and dinners and usually a choice of at least two main courses; packed lunches or preloaded cash cards on excursion days. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements catered for on request.

A full daily programme of sports and activities: arts and crafts, badminton, barbecues, basketball, Capture the Flag, casino night, dance and Zumba, dodgeball, disco, football, frisbee, karaoke, Kings’ Got Talent, movie and quiz nights, murder mystery, swimming games, tennis, touch rugby and volleyball.

Ausstattung

St Mary’s School offers 55 acres of beautiful grounds: fields for outdoor activities, tennis courts, a large sports hall, an indoor 25-metre swimming pool, a modern performing arts centre, student shop and a bright modern refectory.

Camp-Erlebnis

A classic English boarding school summer near Windsor Castle, within easy reach of London (Heathrow 19 km). Typical excursions: seven different London days (London Eye, Tower Bridge, Madame Tussauds, museums, river cruise to Greenwich), Windsor Castle, Oxford, Portsmouth with HMS Victory and Brighton.

Kings Education (Young Learners)

Kings Education has been running English language programmes for many decades, welcoming young learners from nearly 60 countries every year. Kings Young Learners offers summer courses, Summer Experience and Summer Academy programmes for ages 8-17 at city and residential centres across the UK (Ascot, Bath, Berkshire, Bournemouth, London, Oxford) and the USA (Malibu, New York), combining English lessons with a rich activity and excursion programme. Kings is accredited by the British Council and a member of Young Learners English UK and English UK.
