Über den Kurs

The Kings Summer Course offers 15 hours of English lessons per week in international classes, with separate age bands for 8-12 and 13-17 year olds. Optional add-ons: 6 hours per week of tennis (13-17) or horse riding (both subject to a minimum of 6 students). Season 1 July - 5 August 2026, arrival and departure on Wednesdays.

£1,320-£1,700 per week (depending on course option) includes the course, full board accommodation, the activity and excursion programme and a final overnight London stay. Registration fee £85. Optional student insurance £6/week. Transfers per the official Kings table (e.g. Heathrow Shuttle £105 arrival / £20 departure via London).

Traditional boarding school accommodation at Downside School with rooms supervised by Kings residential staff; boys and girls housed separately.

Verpflegung

Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with packed lunches on excursion days. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements catered for on request.

A full daily programme of sports, activities and evening entertainment in the Kings style: arts and crafts, team sports, swimming, dance, discos, karaoke, talent shows, quizzes and movie nights, plus optional tennis and horse riding academies.

Camp-Erlebnis

An English boarding school summer in the South West: excursions include the UNESCO city of Bath and other destinations from the Kings excursion programme, and every stay finishes with an included overnight stay in London before departure.

Kings Education (Young Learners)

Kings Education has been running English language programmes for many decades, welcoming young learners from nearly 60 countries every year. Kings Young Learners offers summer courses, Summer Experience and Summer Academy programmes for ages 8-17 at city and residential centres across the UK (Ascot, Bath, Berkshire, Bournemouth, London, Oxford) and the USA (Malibu, New York), combining English lessons with a rich activity and excursion programme. Kings is accredited by the British Council and a member of Young Learners English UK and English UK.
