CEC Cork Junior Summer Centre (Host Family, Douglas)

English Plus Multi-Activity (11-17): 15 hours of English per week in highly interactive classes. Young Adult and Young Adult Cambridge Prep (16-19): 20 hours per week. All programmes fully inclusive of tuition, accommodation, activities, course materials and registration. Starts 28 June and 12 July 2026 (Cambridge Prep: 28 June and 26 July).

€950-€995 per week fully inclusive (tuition, host family accommodation, activities, materials, registration, Cork airport transfer). Dublin airport transfer €185 each way (accompanied). Insurance is not included and is required for all students.

Carefully selected host families in Cork — the classic Irish immersion experience. Cork airport transfer is included at no extra cost for host family students.

Full board with the host family. Special dietary requirements (gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free) incur a €40/week supplement.

A multi-activity afternoon programme plus CEC’s famous excursions — since 1978 CEC has welcomed juniors to Cork for a summer of fun and learning, making friends and memories to last a lifetime.

Classes and activities run at the Host Family Centre at Douglas Community School in the friendly suburb of Douglas, with sports and teaching facilities on site.
