Tasis Chateau des Enfants Summer Camp in Montagnola

Students choose one main language course (English, French, or Italian) for approximately 2 hours per day. The approach is immersive, with the chosen language being the primary mode of communication during the program. The focus is on building practical vocabulary and conversational confidence through interactive and fun activities. All students also attend a daily STEAM class focusing on creative thinking and problem-solving.

The base package includes the chosen language course, daily STEAM classes, morning sports/activities, afternoon creative electives (arts, crafts, music, etc.), weekend day trips, on-campus meals, and scheduled evening activities. Optional extras at additional cost include specialized sports clubs (Horseback riding, Paddleboarding, Tennis, Milan Academy Soccer) and an overnight hut hiking trip.

Boarding students reside in on-campus dormitories. The program is structured with a supervised schedule, including room clean-up, designated phone times, and lights out at 21:00. The environment is secure and designed for the well-being of young children, with staff supervision throughout the day and night.

The camp provides full board: students receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner on campus, with an additional evening snack.

Morning activities focus on fitness (sports, yoga, hiking, swimming). Afternoons are dedicated to creative electives like culinary arts, visual arts, design, and science projects. Evening activities include group games and story time. Weekend activities consist of off-campus trips and adventures.

The program utilizes the full TASIS campus, including classrooms, sports fields, art studios, and recreational areas. Activities also take place off-campus for trips and specific sports clubs (e.g., horseback riding, tennis with local coaches).

The program leverages the established TASIS environment and experienced educators. Language teachers and activity leaders create an immersive and supportive setting. The structured daily schedule and high level of supervision aim to provide a positive and secure first summer camp experience.
