The Kings Summer Course offers 15 hours of English lessons per week in international classes, with an optional surfing academy (4 hours per week, ages 13-17, subject to minimum 6 students). Season 1-28 July 2026; standard arrival day Wednesday, departure Tuesday.

$2,540 per week ($2,900 with surfing) includes the course, full board campus accommodation and the activity and excursion programme. Registration fee $175. US student insurance $65/week is added automatically unless proof of own insurance is shown. LAX transfer $245 one-way. Unaccompanied minor departure service $275.

Residential campus accommodation at Pepperdine University, supervised by Kings residential staff. Residential refundable deposit $100 payable on arrival.

Full board on campus: breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with packed lunches or cash cards on excursion days. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements catered for on request.

A full daily programme of activities and evening entertainment in the Kings style — sports, arts, karaoke, talent shows, discos and movie nights — plus the option to learn to surf on Malibu’s beaches.

Kings Education (Young Learners)

Kings Education has been running English language programmes for many decades, welcoming young learners from nearly 60 countries every year. Kings Young Learners offers summer courses, Summer Experience and Summer Academy programmes for ages 8-17 at city and residential centres across the UK (Ascot, Bath, Berkshire, Bournemouth, London, Oxford) and the USA (Malibu, New York), combining English lessons with a rich activity and excursion programme. Kings is accredited by the British Council and a member of Young Learners English UK and English UK.

Yes. Kings has been running young learner programmes for decades; the campus residence is supervised by Kings residential staff and a rigorous care and support programme is central to the course. An unaccompanied minor check-in service is available for departures ($275).

The weekly price includes the English course (15 hours per week), full board campus accommodation and the activity and excursion programme. Registration fee $175. Transfers and US student insurance ($65/week, added automatically without proof of own cover) are payable separately.

US student insurance at $65 per week is automatically added to each booking unless proof of your own insurance is shown at the time of booking.

Malibu accepts students aged 10 to 17 (8+ for groups); the surfing option is for ages 13-17. Season 1-28 July 2026, Wednesday arrivals.
