Champions Camp

Camp Champions, founded in 1967, is a premier traditional overnight summer camp on Lake LBJ in Marble Falls, Texas. The mission of the camp is straightforward and powerful: to help every camper discover their potential and become the champion they are intended to be. Annually, the camp welcomes approximately 400 children ages 5-17 from various U.S. states and international students. The camp holds American Camp Association accreditation, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of safety and program quality. At the heart of the camp's programming lies the philosophy of the four "Rs": Respect, Responsibility, Reaching out, and Reasonable Risk. The camp emphasizes the development of "durable skills"—competencies applicable across various situations and lasting throughout life, including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Special attention is given to creating a technology-free environment where children can focus on personal development, friendship, and adventure. Camp Champions provides more than 50 diverse activities across five departments: Waterfront, Ropes, Outdoors,Sports and Fine Arts. The innovative approach combines structured physical activity with camper choice, enabling each participant to build confidence and resilience. Daily evaluations and feedback ensure a personalized approach to each camper's development.
