Students follow the ELAC Discovery Programme by age band (Explorers 7-11, Voyagers 11-14, Trailblazers 14-17): an English level test on arrival, communicative language lessons, functional English, 21st-century skills development and environmental awareness topics. 27 academic hours over 2 weeks, max 16 per class, zig-zag model. End-of-course certificate; optional Trinity GESE exam.

The programme fee includes tuition, activity programme, educational excursions, evening entertainment, full board accommodation and travel insurance. Flights and airport transfers are not included (group transfers included; individual transfers at a supplement). Registration fee £50. Season: 2 July - 13 August 2026, arrivals on Thursdays (2, 16, 30 July), minimum stay 2 weeks.

All accommodation is on-site in 10 boarding houses with twin en-suite and twin standard bedrooms and relaxing common spaces.

餐食方案

Full board in the university dining hall: continental breakfast daily and cooked breakfast twice weekly, excellent menus with vegetarian meals, hot and cold dishes and salad bar, and packed lunches on educational excursions. Allergies and diets catered for.

Creative activities (drama, design, arts and crafts), physical activities (teambuilding, sports on the playing fields, tennis and basketball), workshops (music and rhythm, photography, circus skills) and evening entertainment: discos, talent shows, murder mystery, quizzes and sports tournaments.

The Royal Agricultural University campus offers playing fields, tennis and basketball courts, modern classrooms, a lecture theatre and drama studio, with an indoor swimming pool and sports hall nearby.

Students live on a renowned university campus a 15-minute walk from Cirencester, "the Capital of the Cotswolds", 90 minutes from London. A two-week programme includes excursions to London, Oxford (University College entry) and Cardiff (Castle entry); three-week students also visit Stratford-upon-Avon.

ELAC Study Vacations

ELAC Study Vacations is an independent British summer school operator with 35 years of experience, running residential Discovery Programmes for young learners aged 7-17 at seven summer centres across England (Ardingly, Bath, Cirencester, Eastbourne, Horsham and Nottingham). Programmes combine English lessons with 21st-century skills development, creative and physical activities, evening entertainment and educational excursions, welcoming 32 nationalities. Cirencester accepts students aged 7 to 17 (some 18-year-olds as part of a larger group) - the only ELAC centre also running the Explorers programme for ages 7-11, alongside Voyagers (11-14) and Trailblazers (14-17). An English level test is held on arrival.
