The programme offers 15 hours of English lessons per week, delivered in small classes with an average size of 18 students to ensure individual attention and active participation. Teaching follows a communicative and interactive methodology, encouraging students to use English in meaningful and practical ways. Lessons integrate all four language skills – speaking, listening, reading, and writing – with a strong emphasis on communication, fluency, and confidence. Students are placed into classes according to their English level, which ranges from Elementary (A1) to Proficiency (C2), and the programme can be adjusted to accommodate lower levels if needed. The curriculum is informed by collaboration with National Geographic Learning, bringing the world into the classroom through engaging and relevant materials. Students have access to Spark, an all-in-one digital platform that includes interactive eBooks with embedded multimedia, audio, video, and stunning imagery. Project-based learning encourages students to apply their English skills to real-world topics, such as reflecting on social media use and artificial intelligence, ensuring that lessons are both modern and engaging. Each lesson provides opportunities for students to reflect on their learning process and develop critical thinking skills while using English.
The course is focused on developing overall English proficiency, communication skills, and cultural awareness through a balanced combination of communicative lessons, project-based learning, and real-world practice.
