All programmes fully inclusive of tuition, accommodation, activities, course materials and registration. Starts 28 June and 12 July 2026 (Cambridge Prep: 28 June and 26 July).

Full board with the host family. Special dietary requirements (gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free) incur a €40/week supplement.

Classes and activities run at the Host Family Centre at Douglas Community School in the friendly suburb of Douglas, with sports and teaching facilities on site.

Cork English College (CEC) has welcomed young students to Cork since 1978 — over 65,000 students overall — and has been named Best Language School at the Education Awards three years running. Junior summer programmes (host family or residential, junior centres open 28 June - 1 August 2026) include 15 hours of English per week plus a choice of specialisms: multi-activity, golf with Fota Island Golf Academy, horse riding, rugby with Munster Rugby, football with Valencia CF, STEAM with Designer Minds, and Young Adult / Young Adult Cambridge programmes (20 hours). Comprehensive travel, medical and personal insurance is required for all students and must be arranged before arrival (CEC can arrange cover for non-EU students at €140).
The Multi-Activity programme accepts ages 11-17; Young Adult programmes accept 16-19. Starts 28 June and 12 July 2026, stays of 2 or 4 weeks, Sunday arrivals.
