A first taste of boarding school life for younger children — at Harrow School, one of Britain's most famous schools. Oxford Summer Courses runs one-week academic camps for ages 9–14 at Harrow on the Hill in London: Explorers courses for 9–12s and Scholars courses for 12–14s, in subjects from Science, Technology and Maths to Creative Writing, History, Law, Medicine and Enterprise, taught in interactive classes of maximum 15. Juniors (9–12) choose an Explorers course — Science, Technology, Maths, History, Creative Writing, Enterprise, Law or Medicine — for ages 9–10 or 11–12. Scholars (12–14) take a deeper subject dive. All classes are interactive with maximum 15 students, adapted to children’s interests. Certificate on completion.

Oxford Summer Courses

Oxford Summer Courses is an award-winning academic summer school operator (est. 2010, B Corp certified) welcoming 20,000+ alumni from 150+ countries. Students aged 9–24 study one of 40+ subjects — from Medicine and Law to Creative Writing and AI — in historic settings: colleges of Oxford and Cambridge and Harrow School in London. Teaching is in small groups (seminars of max 8 for teens, classes of max 15 for juniors) with expert tutors. Residential packages include meals, accommodation, activities, excursions, Heathrow transfers and insurance. Note: the company contracts with colleges for use of facilities and has no formal connection with the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
