À propos

À propos du cours

The programme offers 15 hours of English lessons per week, delivered in classes with a maximum size of 20 students to ensure individual attention and active participation. Teaching follows a communicative and interactive methodology that focuses on collaboration through creative projects and review sessions, using English in real-world contexts. Lessons build all core language skills – speaking, listening, reading, and writing – with a strong emphasis on communication, fluency, and confidence. Students are placed into classes according to their English level, which ranges from Elementary to Proficiency, and the programme can be adjusted to accommodate lower levels if needed.

The curriculum is designed in-house and uses engaging, modern topics that students can relate to. The programme's collaboration with National Geographic Learning ensures access to high-quality, engaging course materials that bring the world into the classroom. Each lesson provides students with opportunities to reflect on their learning process and develop critical thinking skills while using English. Additional academic choices include the Trinity GESE exam, as well as customised curriculums such as Employability for the 21st Century (available for students aged 14+ with minimum English level B1) and Academic Skills for Higher Education (available for students with minimum English level B1, minimum of 12 students).

Ce qui est inclus

The programme is all-inclusive and covers English language teaching (15 hours per week), course materials, registration fees, a graduation certificate, accommodation in twin en-suite rooms, all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and all activities and excursions as per the programme. Please note that there may be slight differences in what is included depending on the specific programme and length of stay. For a supplementary cost, the Trinity GESE exam is available subject to demand and minimum student numbers. Customised curriculums such as Employability for the 21st Century and Academic Skills for Higher Education are also available subject to demand and minimum student numbers. Wi-Fi access is included in the accommodation.

Hébergement

Students stay in accommodation blocks located either side of the central Oxford International office, with twin en-suite rooms within blocks arranged in flats of 6 to 8 rooms. Most blocks have a communal kitchen space or lounge where students can relax in the evening, providing comfortable spaces for socialising with peers from around the world. Accommodation is monitored by a 24-hour team of wardens to ensure a safe and secure environment for the students. All students need to bring their own towels and toiletries. The residential setting allows students to fully immerse themselves in campus life and build lasting friendships in a secure environment.

Restauration

Full board is provided, with three meals per day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – included in the programme. Meals are provided on campus and included in the all-inclusive programme. A mixture of packed meals and meal cards replace hot meals on excursions, ensuring students are well-nourished during full-day trips. The dining facilities offer a variety of options to suit different tastes and dietary needs, with vegetarian options typically available. The meal plan ensures that students are well-nourished and energised for their lessons, activities, and excursions throughout the day. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated upon request, subject to prior notification during the booking process.

Activités et excursions

A full and varied activity programme is included, designed to make the most of the campus location in the Hampshire countryside and its proximity to historic cities. Students participate in on-campus activities including discos, karaoke, sports, drama and dance workshops, arts and crafts, and conversation clubs. Excursions to explore the wider area are a key part of the programme, with two full-day excursions to London (in a two-week programme) including visits to the National Gallery, Covent Garden, Hyde Park, and Oxford Street, as well as a Politics & Royalty tour. A full-day excursion to Oxford includes entrance to an Oxford University College and a walking tour. Half-day excursions to Winchester allow students to explore the Great Hall and the magnificent cathedral. Evening social events such as discos, karaoke nights, quiz nights, and talent shows provide additional opportunities for cultural immersion and fun.
